Spring always goes by so fast! It is a bit under appreciated because it can still be cold from Winter overflow, and we just end up being too busy planning and prepping for Summer that the season just simply passes by without a second thought. To try to enjoy and appreciate what in my opinion is one of the best seasons of the year, I make a bucket list each year. My list is simple, and includes a couple are everyday mundane things, but it can also be easy, fun and gives me something besides Summer to look forward to.
- Farmers Market – I need to do this more often in general! Spring brings some of the best fruits and veggies, and what better than to have them straight from the farm.
- Host a BBQ – Our grill is currently collecting dust. I hope we can fire it up soon!
- Furnish my outdoor patio – I would love clean and completely furnish my backyard so we can spend more time out there.
- Go on a road trip – I would love to take a road trip to AZ or Colorado!
- Watch the sunset on the beach – I’m not big on going to the beach, so I rarely go. But I do love those coastal sunsets!
- Clean & Organize my office – Long overdue.
- Clean & organize my garage – I repeat. Long overdue!
- Plan our Summer vacation – We are currently trying to figure out where to go for our Summer vacay. John has been so busy and he’s due for a relaxing trip. And with Little J, all points to a beach vacation like Hawaii. But there are beach in Europe, right…. ;).
- Visit a museum – I would love to visit the LACMA or the Getty Malibu museum.
- Go for a hike – We use to go for hikes often, but I honestly can’t remember our last time. The laguna Canyons would be an amazing place to do a Spring hike.

As for the outfit, I wore this polka dot top in Pismo Beach a couple weekends ago and got so many compliments on it. The flutter sleeves and wrap detail are so flattering!
