If I could only buy one type of bottoms this season, the paper-bag waist style is the one to have. This trendy detail instantly gives a flattering affect with its waist-cinching structure, and gives added ruffle flair! And since they are generally high waisted, the paper-bag waist trend super comfortable as well.
These blue shorts was the first thing I put in my cart during the Shopbop sale a few weeks ago! I love the light denim wash, the exposed buttons and longer length. They look super trendy and yet comfortable. Two things that usually do not go together very often. I paired it with a fun lantern sleeve white bodysuit for more drama and added sassy-ness to this ensemble. I’m usually pretty basic looks, but I can turn up the fun a bit when I want to. 🙂
I am currently lusting over other paper-bag waist pants like….these white striped pants, this pastel blue shorts (under $100), and this ivory linen shorts which will be perfect for Summer!
